Help NO!!!!!!!!! Check it out soon!

Alan,

I have pain from my surgery, but not actual chest pains.......you need to have that checked out ASAP! I'm sure it's nothing, but pred can cause high blood pressure so you need to monitor that as well.........

My face does get red when I am hot or about to have a panic attack (pred induced) and it swells to about 3 times it;s normal size but I think it is just another side effect............As you can tell I have a love/hate relationship with it.....LOL.......

Seriously though, please let your dr know about the chest pains.......they are prolly nothing, but you just want to make sure!

Big hugs!
Erin

Hi, Alan. Chest pain is an emergency. Period. It means go to the emergency room. Why? Because you don't know if it is "only" angina or if you could be headed to a heart attack. PLEASE just go in and get checked out. If you have a cardiologist, you can call them first but they would probably tell you the same thing. Or they would get you in right away for tests.

NEVER wait on chest pain. Ever.

Alan, please go in.

Annie

Thumbs up

Good, I'm glad you're going in, Alan. If it's angina, it can feel "mild." But that doesn't mean it isn't serious. I hope it's nothing but it's always best to check it out.

Thumbs up Hey Alan!

I'm glad to hear you are able to walk miles, but I would rest when I got chest pains...............thankfully your dr. thinks everything is OK

Do you think it may be heartburn due to the pred? Are you having any shortness of breath?

How is the weather there?

It is so great to hear from you!

Teeth Hi Alan!

You were sooooo wise to have everything checked out!

I know pred can do a number on everything!

Red face stinks, huh? Not a sexy look! LOL!

Glad to hear you are ok!

So glad to hear it all checked out well! You had us all worried there! Just getting the word should help you - stress and worry are not good with MG.

Thanks for the update!
