Saw my migraine neuro Wednesday and showed him the lab reports from my blood work.
The Achr Modulating Antibody test was positive but the other 3 including the Achr Binding AB was negative. He has ordered a CT scan and a repetitive nerve stimulation test before I see the MG neuro (Dr. Whittaker) in August. He did not want me to wait until then. He also said that Dr. Whittaker is THE guy here in Kansas City to see for MG. So, does that one positive test mean I more than likely have MG and we are just checking to see if I have a thymoma and how weak my muscles are? Thanks, Shannon ![]() |

As you can see here on this site MG effects everyone differently so I can't say you have MG or not. My last nerve test proved nothing but I was having a good day and they didn't test the muscles that get weak so go figure. Have you had the tensilon shot test? ANY improvement from that shot to me is a positive result and the only one I believe in 100%. Good luck and keep us updated.

My neuro did not want to order a tensilon since I don't seem to have any noticeable weakness; however, Dr. Whittaker may do that in August since I believe that my left eye droops to some degree.
