Default new medicine

I am on the generic for immuran. My hair is coming out, not a lot but just more than usual. I feel shaky all over. My hands are shaking. Anybody had these side effects?

When I was on immuran & methotrexate, I lost hair, over my ears & hair line. The doc. got me up to high on these meds. & I had liver trouble, this caused extreme weakness, & a shaky feeling. Sure enough they did blood work & my liver had been effected. We skipped a week & he lowered the dose by 1 pill the next, then I was fine.
Hope you get feeling better, blood work is very important with those meds.

Wink

Sorry to hear you are reacting to the meds {?} I myself can't take any of the medications for MG so I do not know if that is a normal side effect or not. It may go away in time but if you are concerned I would call the Dr. Good luck and keep us updated.

Thumbs up HI Barbara!

I shake all the time due to my pred, though I have found that controlled release xanax works wonders!

Hang in there!
Erin

I lost hair when on imuran, just as well its so thick.

I get the shakes when I've overdone it, and my muscles are feeling weak.

I notice my hair is more brittle than before, but i've been on IMuran for like 12 yrs. Do you think there's a difference in taking Imuran or the generic brand? Maybe it's the generic brand.
