Hey hon! How are you today? Are you feeling strong?
Crocs DO make your feet sweat! I know that one for a FACT! My hubby wears them all the time........I wash them all the time! LOL! When you get some time let us know how you are! Big hugs! Erin

Thanks, I thought they might. My feet sweat when I'm barefooted, so I don't need to add to it. hahaha I'm feeling really good, thanks for asking. I'm back on my feet again since the cardiologist ran the stress test. I really like that I can give everyone hope, since I'm doing so well, but I also feel guilty that I am. I wish everyone was feeling well & strong. I know they all will eventually, but I also know what a long hard road it can be to get there...it was for me. How are you feeling today after your busy day yesterday? I hope you didn't over due it...I still do! hahaha It's just so hard to pace yourself when you are having such a good day! Take care & thanks again. Hugs, Pat |

I'm really going to look into botox shots for the whole sweating thing......it is so gross when I'm a sweaty hog! LOL
I messed up my back again last night and called my neuro today - he wants me to go back in and have another xray done......he's also going to be out of town so he wants it done @ the hosp so I can be treated if I somehow really messed it up......I just love that man! He is sooooo caring! I do have a hard time pacing myself when I feel good b/c I don't know when I'm going to feel that great again......I've got to learn to slow it down........ How are you today? Big hugs! Erin Quote:

I am sorry to hear about your back. Hope you aren't in much pain. When do you go for the xray? Your Dr. is one in a million! I am having a great day today! I started doing laundry at 6am and cleaned both bathrooms. Was going to mop the kitchen floor, but I am running out of steam and that's my first warning that it's time to stop. Tomorrow's another day and I don't plan on spending it on the couch because of over doing it today. It is so easy for me to know my limits when it comes to cleaning the house! hahaha Take care. Hugs, Pat |

Erin, becareful with the Botox, it's not good for people with MG. Actually it's on the list for people who should not get Botox injections. Bummer I know.
Prednisone causes me to sweat to the point it looks like my hair has been just washed. It's so gross!! And I get so embarrassed from it happening. Yes, my clothes have changed. Especially my shoes. I find if I don't have comfy shoes, my feet seem to hurt easily, and the pain can get really intense. L.L. Bean shoes work well for me. I also get the Massy catalog. But winter shoes/boots, hands down L.L. Beans storm chasers are very light weighted, and comfy. I have both the slip ons, and the shoe/ankle kind. I've walked on ice, and these things seem to really grip well. Nothing is full proof on ice, but I was surprised at how well these work. I sometimes, also buy extra cushiony inserts to put into some summer shoes. I too can't wear tight fitting clothes. high heels are out for me. weak legs. I miss them. i was the heel queen at one time. But let me tell you, Nothing, and I mean Nothing feminine about what I'd look like now wearing them.. One wobbling mess. lolol Oh, what happened to me..??? One good thing that happened since becoming so sick, my under arm hair stopped growing, and my legs don't have too much either. Always looking on the bright side!! (I was told it was how prednisone was working in me) Love ya's Lizzie |

Hi Lizzie,
Last year out of the blue, my left eye started twitching non stop for weeks. Much like it does sometimes when I take Mestinon. When I saw my neuro ophthalmologist, she said she could stop it by injecting botox...a needle in my eye, no thank you!!! It eventully stopped on it's own, but now I'm really glad I didn't get it. Thanks for the info! Also, I am going to check out the LL Bean boots. Winters get pretty bad here and I'm not exactly light on my feet anymore either...thanks! Hope you're having a good day. Pat |

Lizzie, sounds like we are two peas in a pod, that is why I started the thread, to see if I could spruce myself up, & still function. anything tight adds resistance, & causes more weakness. Then there is the sweaty feet, anything but sox seem like cynder blocks on my feet. Looks like we are doomed for style ! LOL.....

Mary, you wouldn't believe the fashion statements I come up with to be comfortable in when I'm at home. I'm too embarrassed to answer the door!
