3 Recruiting Thymectomy Trial in Non-Thymomatous Myasthenia Gravis Patients Receiving Prednisone Therapy Condition: Myasthenia Gravis
Interventions: Procedure: thymectomy; Drug: prednisone

I spoke to one of the doctor's responsible for this trial at the MGA conference in Glasgow - i was really excited about the chance to take part but you had to have been diagnosed within the past year and I was diagnosed four years ago. The doctor was trying to establish if one treatment was better than the other. Sadly she hasn't had any results yet.

Kathy,
There is one for a drug called eculizumab that has multiple trial locations in the US. It looks like it is going to be a large trial. Could they be persuing this in the UK also??
I just missed two of the inclusion criteria,
the cut off date because you have to have MG for 10 years or less. I just approached the 11 year mark and
They have a time frame for plasmapheresis & IVIG & I am gearing up right now for some plasmapheresis & IVIG.
