Thank you all for all your support ! I did fine, Of course I did have to do a few veins, because they blew, the tech was great though, no digging, pain free. 12 viles, & a cup of pea ! LOL........ = 17 tests !

Oh Mary, I really do feel for you!!
I have a good arm and a bad arm for taking blood. The good one is great, and they always get it first time, but the bad one, whew, its wrapped around something and bent, so if they arn't experienced and go digging, I feel like passing out...............I'd much rather not have blood test, a couple of tests ago( I have them every 6 weeks) I just burst into tears, sick of blood test Iam....

Mary,
Any idea how long for the results on these tests? I'm glad the draw went reasonably well for you. I remember the time I had to give more blood than I've ever seen drawn at one time, my son with his big, beautiful, pokey out veins was with me and had so much compassion on his face at the trouble they were having on mine. He told the tech he'd gladly volunteer his, since we were related and all - if only it would work that way!

Glad the tests are over! I too know exactly what you have to go through - - - hoping and praying the vein hangs in!! And it's never a comfort when the tech looks like they'd give real $$ if only they could find a (good) vein!! That's when you ask to go to pediatrics. The techs in peds can hit painlessly on the first try (and are greatful that you don't scream and squirm like most of their patients!). Hope your tests give you answers you are looking for. It's the not knowing and waiting that is always tough. Know that in the meantime, thoughts and prayers are with you. Sue |

Hi Mary,
I'm glad to hear that they were able to get your testing done. After lurking through this site for a while, I am also curious to know what your results will be for your overlap. Some of your non-MG symptoms remind me of mine. I wish you luck! |

Hi all ! I'm sure some have come in, but some of the autoimmune ones I think take a while, I will let you all know as soon as I hear.
Thank you for all your support ! Mary
