Welcome Ckitty60. Hope you find this board very informative, as I have. There are really great people on here who will try and respond to your needs, if they know. Don't be afraid to ask questions, as we all have them and this board is a good avenue to get different viewpoints on many topics. Again, welcome and look forward to your input.

Great to meet you Ckitty60!! I'm new too - but I think you will find this a terrific site. Full of fun, caring and knowledgable folks.

When were you diagnosed and how are you doing?

Sue

Smile Hi Joanmarie!

Hey sweetie! I'm HOME! YAY! I have been catching up on my sleep - they NEVER let you sleep @ the hosp! LOL! How on earth did they get that huge line in your arm? It is the size of a STRAW! I was shocked when I saw it!
I have gotten better with needles - had to or I'd go crazy!
How are you doing? Are you feeling better?
Big hugs!
Erin

I could understand your fear for having a neck line put in. Hope all is going good.

Smile Hi Tbarney!

How are you hon? Are you enjoying your much deserved time off?

They keptme in limbo the entire time - the dr who was supposed to place my line wasn;t there - so they admitted me and then told me not to eat or drink anything until the line was placed! Not fun, but tolerable!

Every time I have the plasma exchange they place the line in my neck. Not fun @ all!

It does make me feel better though!

Big hugs!
Erin

How about others with plasma exchanges, where do you get your line at?

Get better soon Erin.

So glad to hear you are home. I hope you are feeling better. That whole needle the size of a straw thing sounds scary! Not sure how all that works - haven't been there yet. Hope you are resting well and have a good weekend. I do love this site. I can't really describe what it has meant to me already. Thanks so much for your help and encouragement!! Hope you have a good nights rest.
