Default Somebody Help

I have had a muscular tension/pressure sensation the past 4 years of my life. I have been in and out of Neuro offices with many testes, this happened after I had a bad virus when i was straining to throw up. the next day this left side temple pressure stayed with me for 4 years, the only thing that takes the pressure sensation away are benzodiazapines. tried Lyrica, Propranlol, Haven't tried Amitriptylne yet. Do you think this is tmj related? even though I have no clicking or pain in my jaw? just on my left temple muscle area in a specific spot, when i press down on my temple muscle right before the left side of my skull, It's very tender. Heat helps but as soon as I take the heat off the pressure comes back. Had a brain mri/mra done 3 years ago. Any ideas? why do benzodiazapines take it away!?

Have you tried any alternative care methods?
acupuncture, chiropractic, specialty massage, hypnosis?
