You are so sweet. Actually the "cry, cry, cry" comment was one making fun of myself.

I am feeling down, but it takes a lot of time to get rid of the meanness...so no worries, I'll be fine.

I live so far from everything that finding a dr is a problem.

How are you doing? I know that you have been dealt a wrong hand, and I will light a candle for you tomorrow.

Sorry to hear things went poorly for your daughter. And for you. The doctor's each think it is the other one's problem and the one that needs to do the exploratory doesn't want to and few doctors available. You could be living here!

I will keep you in my thoughts.

mamafigure,

isn't exploratory surgery a bit premature at this point? Did they do a CT scan or an MRI first?

If the surgeon doesn't want to do this, I'd probably try to find a second opinion from another GYN. Seems like they should be a bit more sure before "going in".

So sorry you had such a bad day. And special thoughts for your daughter as well. Not fun when doctors want to do more than you're expecting to happen and worked yourself up for. The terror factor rises considerably when unexpected stuff happens.

Farside, they have done a CT and 3 ultrasounds. Only small things have shown up, so no one knows for sure, but it sounds like adhesions.

Thanks for the support

I just realized that my daughter's antibiotic prescription didn't get filled, so I need to run to town soon ( a half hour drive each way) and then get to work. Her surgery is tomorrow.
