I have Subacute Combined Degeneration of the Spinal Cord caused by a severe b12 defiency not picked up for about 10yrs, I am on fortnightly injections without them I am toast.
The condition causes me to have a episodes of paralysis in legs hand and arms which last anywhere from seconds to minutes. I am now having a very worrying new symptom if I do walking for any length of time my legs collapse below me without warning. The muscles in legs when I stand up are like steel I do have a powered wheelchair which is controlled by my chin but sometimes I just like to go for a short walk, anyone with any similar symptoms. |
