Monday's surgery has been postponed because the anesthesiologist can't be there on that day. It is now scheduled for Tuesday, the 10th anniversary of the death of my son.
I somehow knew all along that this would happen. I am really glad that the anesthesiologist will be there. we had a long talk and she is willing to work with me. We also discovered that someone put down a drug that I am deathly allergic to as one that I take every day. It would likely have been prescribed for nausea. She also was concerned that I have no pain meds that I can go home on. Right now it looks like plain tylenol or ibuprofen, both of which are useless in my estimation. She saw how upset I was at the preop today and actually thought that I should wait, but it is too close to Christmas already.
