Confused Help i need an answer

I need help and I can't find any answers. I am 55 years old, female and just plain sick and tired. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which I too believe is a waste basket diagnosis.

For the last 9 months when I go to sleep I sweat profusely, I assumed my menopause was over, however when I wake up I am covered in red sweat. I looked it up and all it said was that it had something to do with the sweat glands and blood and a possible cause could be uremic poisoning. I am desparate to bring something to my doctor so he can help me.

He says he never heard of this and I am frightened that no one will figure this out. There must be someone out there that must know something. Please Help I am desparate. I don't know if I am in the right area for this question, so if anyone knows where I should go please let me know.
Thanks

Default I hope that you have seen a doctor?

By now? I too would be scared silly if that happened to me! And, I've had a LOT happen to me.
So, please, let us all know how you are doing? This is a worrisome issue.
Definitely something's not working right.
Hugs and hope! - j

Lightbulb some ideas...

Please read this:
http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/1072254-overview

One drug that will color tears, etc is Rifampin.

Heavy sweating can come from diabetes. So you need to be carefully screened for this, and have a fasting insulin run also.

Opiates, can cause heavy sweating in some people. Also with SSRI antidepressants, Strattera, Cymbalta and Effexor.

I'd also get screened for hemochromatosis.
This is iron overload disease and is genetic.
Iron can be excreted in the sweat--
