Default hey from Ohio
I found this board while searching the net for anything - something that can help with the pain I have from a recent episode of shingles...

I guess it hasn't been that long - I'm on week 4 now. I had a very bad outbreak on the back of my head.. around my neck and partially down my chest. I had no pain with the blisters or the scabbing - it now looks really good but I can't take the pain.

I have been using cold compresses for some relief - I'm on Vicodin and today got some Lyrica - something has to help....

Shingles is a painful condition. so soooorrrry you're dealing with that. Hope you're through it soon.

We're so glad you found us!

I've never experienced shingles, but I can certainly sympathize with you. My mom had it, and she explained to me what the pain was like. I hope you can get it taken care of quickly!
