Default Hello All

I am so thankful that I found this fabulous site. I have been diagnosed with RSD in both my right and left feet. I broke my rt foot in '05 and three metatarcals in my left foot in July of this year. I have been in pretty heavy denial about the diagnosis until confirmation by a well respected doc that I trust (I saw him today for a second opinion). I will go in for my first nerve block sometime next week and begin aggressive physical therapy next week as well. I have three kiddos, ages ten, seven, and almost five, and am a recently divorced stay at home mom. I am also bi-polar and have ADHD. I suppose this all makes me quite interesting, yesno? I cannot wait to get to know all of YOU interesting folks, as I have been lurking around this site for most of the night (unable to sleep tonight for some reason...can't FATHOM that it's stress!) and this site is just amazing to me. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this forum, and all of you.

Welcome to NT!

You'll find many friends here who know firsthand how tough it is to battle multiple issues. It is especially difficult when one is trying to raise a young family at the same time. I'm thinking about getting a shirt printed that says: "I'm a spinal and brain damaged Mom. What's your superpower?"

I look forward to getting to know you.

Cheers
