Default Looking for Info on Syncopy Issues

Hello! Long story short - my DH had heart surgery 3 years ago ( large aneurysm in upper aortic arch -valve replaced with pig valve - double bypass, and repair of hole in heart). Since the surgery he has suffered weird bouts of syncopy - he appears to lose consciousness - is limp, eyes shut, cannot respond -- BUT CAN HEAR EVERYTHING GOING ON AROUND HIM. Heart doctor says it is not heart - neurologist said he had no evidence of anything there.

Has anyone heard of this type syndrome before after heart surgery???

Thanks for any info.
