Default New Member from Savannah

Hello. I have had years of neck problems starting with a double fusion in 1982I have facet joint syndrome above and below the C 5-6, 6-7 fusion and have had several injections which originally helped but no longer stop the pain. A pain specialist has recommended a rhizotomy. I am having trouble finding someone to perform this procedure in my area. Does anyone know of a specialist in Atlanta or Savannah to recommend? I am ready to try it\\the procedure, even though some of the posts sound negative.

Happy New Year to one and all. Adlib

Smile Welcome

Hi

Welcome to NT

We're glad you found our site.

I've had years of neck pain too. Sometimes you will do anything to get help. I hope it works out for you. Just ask questions before you commit.

Best of luck with your injecitons. keep in touch and let us know what you decide.

Default Thanks for the response.

Broken Wings - I am taking my time, weighing all of the options. I went to a pain specialist in Baltimore who teaches at Johns Hopkins and he recommended the rhisotomy. Now, I just want to find the right person to do the procedure. I think that is important, too. Adlib
