I am 12 days away from getting a spinal cord stimulator implanted. The doctor is going to implant the battery on my right hip. I have also heard of them placing it in your stomach.

I'll let you know how mine feels but I think your best bet is to post in the Spinal Disorders and Back Pain forum like Hockey mentioned. I got a lot of great feedback there.
