Question Nystagmus
Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and personal experiences in an effort to benefit others.

Please share any information that you have regarding nystagmus. Is this condition associated with Multiple Sclerosis or Chiari Syndrome?

Any info is appreciated!

Nystagmus is basically eye movements associated with neuro problems, usually those involving the cerebellum. when the Doc asks you to follow his finger with your eyes, he is looking for smooth pursuit without breaks. Paretic gaze nystagmus is an indication of brainstem involvement. This one is where it is not possible to maintain a gaze on an off centre target, and the eyes keep going central
