Crazy Conversion Disorder or what??

Hello all,

I am a 44 yo with PTSD and recurrent conversion disorder symptoms. While I have gotten better over the course of the last several months, I still have fears of underlying conditions such as MS. All MRI's are clear of demyelination, however, over the past year I have developed 3 nickle sized spots on my left frontal lobe that my Dr's say are insignificant. My CD issues are on my left side (ataxia, slurred speech, nastagmus, paralysis) and only last from 3-4 hours.

I have memory and concentration issues (hey, I am 44) other than that I am tarp as a shack, but the spots do worry me. My neurologist has requested annual MRI's. What information am I not getting here??

Concerned,

DM

Cute.... you have a sense of humor and that's a good sign in my book.

Just wanted to let you know there is a forum here specific to PTSD......just click on the big NeuroTalk Logo and scroll clear down....it's almost at the bottom

It would be good to start a new discussion there!

Best Wishes.....You've come to a great place!

Welcome to Neurotalk DavidM. I'm sorry to read about the problems you've been having.

As Rrae kindly said (thank you Rrae), we do have a PTSD forum, and here's the direct link :

Hi David and welcome to NT!

I can't say that I know anything about CD, but I did have to wrestle PTSD after my car accident. It wasn't fun and my recovery isn't 100%, but I'm getting way more functional that I'd dared hope at the start.

Cheers
