Post ... H-e-e-e-e-l-p ... and Hello ...

HI. I was referred to this site by a freind who stumbled on it ... sorry, that was meant as a small joke, pretty weak I know, but true story anyway.

I have recently been diagnosed (by my - so far - first and only Foot Doctor) with neuropathy in addition to Plantar's Fasciitis. Am expereincing a fair degree and increasing, of pain, burning and tingling sensations, all only in my feet (so far). So I guess I'll be hanging around in the PN forum some, looking for answers. I've got other issues too, so I may poke my nose into some other corners, and see if my feet are willing to follow,.

This is my first experience with a health-related forum or discussion board, so be gentle with me, please ... I am sadly undereducated about PN (among other things), but I will try to catch up ... and please forgive my atrociose dystypia and occasional and obstinate habit of intentional misspelling, witch (sic) I will try to keep to a minimum, for the purpose of clarity if not good manners.

Thanks, Rrae ... it seems a sense of humor would be an absolute essential when trying to cope with this kind of p-a-a-a-a-a-I-N ... fortunately, although mine sometimes leaves me, it always seems to come back ... (so far). Thanks for the welcome!

Now, I think Im almost ready to try to tell the story of how I got diagnosed with PN ...

"It was a dark and stormy night ..."

Default Welcome to NT !

And good to meet you! My husband has Feet Neuropathy as a side effect of chemo. He is pretty miserable, so I can really sympathize with you. Hope you find some comfort soon!

Hi there. Just wanted to say Hi and Welcome

My husband has neuropathy (Idiopathic), which means that have NO IDEA WHY HE HAS IT. First he was given a diagnosis of CIDP, which is Chronic Inflammatroy Demylinating Polyneuropathy WHOA, TRY SAYING THAT THREE TIMES FAST!!!

But then they said "No, we don't think you have this". He has had every nerve test, blood test, spinal tap, everything under the son. Many back specialists, many MRI's, only to be told "Well, we can't find anything in your back that would cause neuropathy".

Yeah, right.

Are you diabetic, by the way?

I am, that's why I'm asking.

So again, welcome, keep posting, and keep updating on your condition. You've found a nice home here.
