Default Intro

I am a 26 year old mother of two girls. I have daily headaches. I have been having these daily headaches, including migraines, most of my life. I also have a very rare condition. I have a porencephalic cyst (fluid filled cyst) in place of my right frontal lobe.
I have visual disturbances, extreme photosensitivity, short-term memory loss, and occasional anger outbursts. I am looking for anyone who can relate to daily debilitating headaches. Also, anyone with information on my cyst would be appreciated.
I bypassed the mental delays and have only had one seizure in my life (right after birth). The information I have found does not mention much for those fortunate enough to live past 20. I am the first patient with this condition that my neurologist has ever seen.

Default Hello there!

Welcome to NT!

I am so very sorry about what brings you here tho!
I'm sure you'll find much support here. There are so many caring folks who suffer pain on all scales.

Just ask if you need help in finding your way around.
Browsing thru the forums on the main menu was how I became more familiar with people/things/places here.
Also, if you are trying to find posts on a particular discussion, there is that 'search' feature at the top of the page I find very useful. Just type in particular words of interest and it'll bring up posts from previous discussions.

My heart goes out to you......and I'm glad you've found this wonderful forum.
Rae
