Default Hello to all

My name is Tammy. I have already been dx'd with RSD in my right foot after an injury in 2008, but in the past months I began to notice some changes I thought were RSD spread. My primary doctor was concerned enough to get me a fast appointment with a local neuro-(my usual neurologist couldn't fit me in), and an MRI was done-he also had me checked for epilepsy. He found several white matter changes, and something he called "dawson's fingers". Next thing he get another EEG and an LP-(not fun!!!) No results yet for these last two tests.

I know it's silly to ask, but are there any other conditions that might show these "dawson's fingers" on an MRI?

I do have many of the MS symptoms, but I'm just hoping there can be some other answer...

Heart Welcome Tammy !

Thank you for introducing yourself! You've found a wonderful forum, many MANY caring folks.....
I'm so sorry tho, that you have these conditions

Your questions are not 'silly' at ALL! I would want to know the exact things you are asking!

Here is the link to the RSD forum, click on
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...aysprune=&f=21

It is a very active forum here, and full of very caring people who know exactly what you are feeling. It is a scary thing to not have answers.
Please feel welcome here and look thru the other forums as well.....or, even better, try using the 'search' feature at the top of the page and type in a key word, such as 'dawson's fingers'.....it will bring up posts from previous discussions on this subject so you can at least center in on where you can get more info and support from others here.....

NT is like one big family. Genuine Caring people.

Welcome to NT

I'm so sorry you're dealing with RSD. I dont' have that but understand it is another difficult condition to diagnose and treat and live with. My heart goes out to you.

I hope you find some peace in your days.

See you around...
