I am getting very frustrated with being in so much pain. I have been in pain (some days better than others) for about a month and half now. Have not been able to exercise or do much at all. I have been doing gentle stretches and taking motrin and tylenol. I am seeing an ortho dr. right now that has taken x-rays and they are fine. Has taken blood work, which haven't hear back from yet. My neck and back are really stiff every morning that I wake up. Today my shoulder muscles and back muscles along the spine, are constantly in spasms. Has anyone experienced this and if so, what did you do? I can use all the help I can get. Thank you.

Hi,
What kind of work/hobbies do you do? Could your problems stem from some sort of repetitive motion condition? Any accidents or injuries that might have caused these pains? You might want to visit our Thoracic Outlet Syndrome {TOS} forum for more info. I'll post the useful sticky thread link for you. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread84.html post # 1 is a crash course of info - extra good for starters. plus some various therapies are listed & linked even if you don't have TOS.

I have gone through this for years, I posted a similar post today as I have gotten a lot of conflicting test results. I have seen a massage therapist at least once a month for 7 years, she was recommended by a doctor. I am currently seeing a chiropractor. I'm planning on seeing another spine specialist next week since the chiropractor says I have a bone spur in my neck.
I am new too, I hope you find the answers and get some relief. I know one thing every doctor asks about is what type of bed you sleep on, how old is it and if it is rotated or turned regularly. There are a lot of positions we do things in that can cause problems. |
