Default I am new here too

I have MS, Fibro and CFS, along with spinal stenosis and compression fxs in my lower spine. I am in extreme pain every day, and am on MSContin 3 times a day, Vicodin, Zanaflex and Flexeril to dull the pain I have. It does not take the pain away, just makes it livable. I am blessed beyond belief by my 14 year old daughter who is well adjusted to my illnesses and pain. She is unbelievably kind and generous, and doesn't mind her mom riding in one of the scooters at the grocery stores...she is a treasure that God gave me late in life and is not only a good daughter, but a good student and a good friend. I couldn't ask for a better lot in life right now. All this pain and instability will not last forever, but I will go where there is no pain or suffering and will be able to run, jump and play as I haven't in a long while. Thanks for having this site, and sorry I haven't said hello in a while...but I've been in a lot of pain and unable to get here. Peace be with you all.

God be with you and your daughter... Kids are a blessing from God. You raised her well to be accepting of others, may God's healing hand rest upon you and bring relief.

Hi Jewels,
Nice to see you again.
It sounds like you have been blessed. Having a lovely, smart and wonderful daughter, who understands that her Mom is in pain and has many problems. You must be a great Mom.

Have you had, or considered surgery for your back spinal stenosis, compression and pain? I had it done and the pain went away in the recovery room.

I hope you feel better. It is great that you post on the MS forum. I guess you post or read on the Fibro forum also.

No, I haven't had surgery for my back...I have shots put into my back--facet injections-on either side of the compression fxs and in the middle--which keep the pain tolerable with the meds I take. I'm kind of wary about back surgery, and since the pain is taken care of with shots every 3 months, then I will go with that until it stops working. Then I might consider surgery.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I realized that I was a newbie but have been in the MS forum so didn't think of saying hi up here!
