Default New here Hello

I found this site while searching for information on a upcoming surgery. Wow the information contained here is Real World. Not textbook but life experience and far more educational than most I have found on the web. Thank you to everyone that has opened up and shared there innermost dealings with difficult life experiences. I will look around and post when moved to do so.

Thank you
Bluhat

Default cervical fussion troubles

I am new to the list, joined two days ago. I'm not very good on the PC or wi the lingo. I am post C-6-7 fusion with plate. I am facing more surgery now after 6 years. I have DDD and CJD I was told today I need more surgery C-4-7 Narrowing of my column and a bunch of other stuff. I am terrified. I am not doing so good emotionally right now. I am wondering why I should do this as I will just continue to degenerate. I have not made an appt. with a neuro surgeon but have the referal from my pain specialist. My PCD had me take a new CT scan and it turned out really bad. I am kinda numb. Can any one talk to me to tap back. I am F and almost 60, just pain scarred
