Default Aloha-Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia

Is there anyone else on this site with this condition? I live in Hawaii and it's been challenging to say the least to find any Dr's here with real experience of this condition. They want to just throw meds at it, and I don't know if I can face the prospect of being in pain the rest of my life. Would appreciate anyone to talk to about this, I'm burning out my friends and family. Thanks
