Question seeking help

Hi all, Just came on board, bringing along horrendous neuropathic face pain following an infected dental implant, accompanied by fibromyalgia, and rsd or crps and throw in a MRSA infection for good measure. I could go on and on but lets try move forward. I have little quality of life, stay home, cant drive, on many meds, tried almost all clinics in Boston,Workup has been pretty good. No it isn't Trygeminal neuralgia. It's been three years of frustration, Cognitove compromises and unbearable pain. I know what I know after 40 + yrs of being an RN. But dont know everything and of course cant always be objective about myself as a pt. What I would appreciate is feedback from folks with regard to any exp. with treatment at the Mayo clinic in Minnisota and with the Arizona pain specialists. Both have been recommended by my MDs. I'm at the end of my rope. thx sh

[I went to Minn. at the beginning of my auto immune disorders. They are fabulous and I have not forgotten them. You will get the best care, and they do indeed get to the bottom of what is wrong with you. Be prepared for that as they tell you out right what is wrong and recommend treatment. I went in 1980 for dianosis. It has held true for what they told me at that time. Good luck to you. This clinic really is good, and I have such hope for you. ginnie

Default Welcome Sona to NT! You need to post and get help....

from Bryanna on our 'Dentistry' forum:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum89.html
Just click onto the blue above and you can start a new thread. Give her a couple of days to respond? Be patient! Her advice is always well grounded and is sound! She is ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS!
I can understand to some degree your pain and fears. I've gotten zapped with the anasthetics more than once in my life during some dental work? But not ever to the degree you are suffering! My other neuropathies tho? Are enuf, thank you!
Don't be afraid to ask her for help. As I said? It mite take more than a day or two for a response? But I've found her advice always on target and very, very honest! Start w/Bryanna? Then go on from there...
I truly with all my heart hope that your pain can and does heal!
