Default Hydrocephalus Sufferer

I have immense intense migraines and after years finally found a doctor who gives me pain meds, I need some support the pain meds are only 2 per day but I feel like I need more. I don't want to come off like a drug seeker. I also have cervical and spinal stenosis. I need support , please advise.

My dear.

I read your post, both here and on the other forum. I can't begin to understand what you are going through. Someone, more knowledgeable than myself, will come along and guide you.

We are a nice bunch of people on these forums, with all kinds of pain syndromes. Pain is pain, no matter what the cause.

You should be given whatever you need to make you comfortable. I hope your doctor understands this.

I just wanted to stop by, say hi, and welcome you to Neurotalks.

Take care,

Melody

I also have head pain on a daily basis & have a running presc for pain meds (1 a day here) If you are in a state that allows medical marijuana use you should try it (can't advise you to try it where not legal but ???). It might help you. Also there are some meds taken for depression that also help to relieve pain esp in combination w/the pain med. You might discuss this w/your doctor. Just some thoughts. Hope they help.

Good Answer.

I know a few people who go the medical marijuana route (some not so medical), and they say it brings RELIEF from nerve pain.

Hey, you do whatever you need to do

Let's hope the powers that be get off their high horses and legalize medical marijuana in every state so the people can finally get some relief.

I mean, New York just signed a bill for no-fault divorce (we are the final STATE to do this).

Take care

Melody
