Hi, so after googling PCS alternative therapies I somehow came across this site. To my relief I found a thread from this forum with others having the same problem.
Last September ('09) I suffered a concussion (3rd or fourth confirmed) during a hockey game by taking an elbow to the back of my head at mid ice. 11 months later I'm still having PCS and only working 3 half days a week. Before I start in on the story of symptoms and and asking for others advice maybe i could be pointed to a more appropriate column or thread here. Thanks! |

Thank goodness for google! It is nice to speak with others that understand. I fell backward onto pavement 10 days ago, still dizzy with quick changes in position and no sense of smell. All in all, I am extremely fortunate. But I must admit the smell thing is quite bothersome. Hoping it is temporary and as my brain heals, perhaps the olfactory nerve will too. Today is my first MD app and hope to be cleared to drive. Work would be nice but wondering if its too soon for a full schedule. How long were you out of work? Going stir crazy at home! Yanky |
