new member just diagnosed with senory-motor periphereal nueropathy which is idiopathic at this time. All blood work is normal, it started in my right foot a couple of years ago and now is affecting both. The doctor say's it has demyelinating and axonal features, deep tendon reflexes are absent in both ankles, no response in the peroneal for sensory or motor on my right side and n/r for sensory on the left. f-waves are prolonged right peroneal f-wave is absent. slow motor response for the postieror tibal nerve. and the list goes on any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I don't like being of unknown causes I am 41 years old the doctor said it could just improve on its own.

Hi.
Just wanted to say Welcome. My husband has Idiopathic Poly Neuropathy for 18 years. Only it's in his feet and no where else. Very frustrating (the not knowing why), I can only imagine. I noticed that you posted on the Neuropathy forum. That's good. They are a great bunch of people and they will come and reply to you. So stay calm, don't panic and you'll be in a dialogue with others in no time at all. Take care Melody
