Default just had mdv surgery 4wks ago

Hi i'm lola i had mvd surgery 4 wks ago. I have only just began to have any relief from the surgery. 2 days ago i didn't have any pain till the evening meal. It felt great but it did not last. The last two days have been partly pain free as well. Is that normal? Will i get more relief as the days go by. See dr again the 9th of sept. Did not receive much info on what to expect. I feel like i'm on a merry go round of pain. Up and down with emotions as well. Can i expect more relief. Dr said give it only i month and i would know. Am allergic to most pain meds i get itchy and break out. Wearing my glassses hurt before the surgery and it still hurts. Need them for this and all reading. Anyone got hope for me.
