Not sure where to find answers and opinions here...
I have a tumor on my skull and the dr decided that it was fast growing and wants to remove it before it grows into my brain. ok....I was stunned, but when he said "I have to shave all your hair off", I can't even describe what I felt. (I'm sure any woman reading this will know). He does not think it's cancer, but of course won't know till he's in there. So, ladies, (and men), how did you get over having your head shaved and doing the whole scarf/wig thing? I'm dreading it. I know there are those of you out there having chemo and have lost your hair, so you might have the same feelings. Of course if it's cancer, the hair thing will seem silly to worry about, but right now I cry off and on. Found out about a week ago. Thanks for any advice! |
