Default survivor of my father's suicide ( new )

I was eleven. He was 42. Now, I'm 48. It seems as though the event caused me some damage, brain damage. I looked back for a long time, but now I look to the future mostly and I am troubled. I am very fortunate for the life I have now, but I know that all things change. I take anxiety meds that work. They don't do anything for my mind.
