I am also in Australia, a bit older and have hydrocephalus, epilepsy, depression and sleep apnoea. I hope you are getting good treatment (both medically and otherwise). I have found people tend to be more understanding of physical problems than mental ones.
best wishes

Smile Hi, Ron!

I think that in general you're probably right about that, Ron, although I have friends with "whole body" problems (e.g., MS) who would argue bigtime about that!

Here are some links (same as above, so you may have gone there already):
Epilepsy forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum11.html
Hydrocephalus forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum14.html
Depression forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum37.html
Sleep Apnea: I'm drawing a blank. Someone else will be along. Brighter & wiser!!

Hang out, ask questions, start a thread--spend the weekend or settle in for the long haul. Let us know what we can do, how you're doing, & of course how you're feeling about how you're doing/not doing.

And if you've hit one of those times when you just don't think you can do it anymore....

I guess most of us have been there too & can relate, for what that's worth. Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt, coffee cup, & the bumper sticker.

Thanks Ron, yeah I have found that to a degree, although the hydrocephalus can be a tough one as you wouldn't know i had it just by looking at me and people dont seem to understand it when i suddenly get sick for no apparent reason.
