Question new member in fl with spinal cord stimulator

my name is janine and I have a spinal cord stimulator implanted. I had it implanted 2 years ago and it never really worked well for me and I will be having this removed sometime soon.

I had about 5 adjustments(surgically) to this stimulator and it still isn't helping with my pain.

My dr. told me last month that he was disappointed that the stimulator failed, so am I. I wanted to know if anyone else has had these problems with the medtronic stimulator, and if it is just me that its not helping.

I am looking forward to learning that I am not alone with this problem

I did a search of the forums for you on medtronic -
here's what came up- you'll have to skim through the posts but the word will be highlighted in red.

What dx do you have- spinal pain, RSD or ?

Thanks for reply to my post. I have been out of town and apolgise for not replying earlier. I have failed back surgery syndrome, (laminectomy and disectomy) nerve damage, and stenosis. I am scheduled to have the stimulator removed on 4/16 because it hasn't really helped me. I have had around 4 revisions to reattach the leads, and turning on the stimulator causes pain in my upper back that the dr. says is caused by the scar tissue?
