I'm not ignoring you. My Internet has been down. I didn't realize how much I rely on this as my 'window to the world' until I didn't have it for 3 days!!!
Thank you for sharing about your symptoms. You are in so much pain. I am sorry you have to go through all that. Sometimes I get muscle spasms and Charley horses when I'm sleeping...but nothing like what you are describing. mine are just from my feet up to my knees. I've started sleeping with my feet at the top of the bed. I've learned that when I awaken and feel it coming on in my feet....IF I can catch it fast enough and flatten my foot on the head board I can actually stop it from going on up. I figured it out, because I got to where I would try to get my feet to the floor and put some weight on them and it helped ease it faster. So then I got to experimenting with the feet on the headboard and it works most of the time. It sounds like you have a wonderful place to live.I'm glad you can get out and enjoy your surroundings. I stay TOO shut up, but I, too, rely on God a lot. Talk to him throughout the day and read my Bible a lot. It helps. I am lucky that my husband can take me out when I really need to have a change of scenery. Take care!!! Friend

Yeah, I usually do the flat foot against the baseboard too, on a cramp, but my Lady Americana Adjustable Bed doesn't have a headboard or a baseboard. Well, you take care.. Thanks for replying to my posts. I will be taking a break. LaVerne |

Bean is my buddy, for sure, and my "excercise machine," as I spend a lot of time caring for her and playing with her, walking her, etc. She is a one-year-old Hairy Hairless Palomino Chinese Crested, born in Georgia. Please visit Pets and Wildlife and check for my new Thread -- I'll call it Bean, HHL Chinese Crested. I hope it is OK to post my recipe here: Oh my Gosh, Mackeral Soup is great, and there is a Mackeral/Vegetable Pizza recipe you can get off the internet, just Google it. I always just start with a big frying pan and fill it up halfway with water, add 3 cups thinly cut cabbage and 1 bag of frozen Stir-Fry Veggies, (usually Asparagus Stir-Fry), and 2 large unpeeled diced potatoes. Then I add 1/3 cup of honey barbecue sauce, and 1/3 cup of ketchup. Add 1 15 oz. can Mackeral (with brine), then two heaping tablespoons of sweet pickle relish, add Basil and Stanfield's Secret Seasoning some paprika, garlic powder, and a chicken seasoning packet only from a Raman Noodle pack (don't put this if you are watching your salt). Finally, I add 2 tablespoons of corn meal muffin mix (optional). The Brine counts as salt. Bring to a boil, then adjust the taste (add more honey bbq sauce, if tastes a little bland), Then turn your fire down to a 3 on electric, low on gas, and simmer for 45 minutes or even longer or shorter if you want to retain some vitamins. Put whatever you want in it, you can't mess it up. If I could have it, I would be add hot sauce. Take Care, LaVerne |

Your baby is such a little charmer!! I checked out each of your photos and see she is a unique beauty and imagine you couldn't put a price on the profound comfort she brings you. My own Dog and past dogs and ferret are always with me even if some of them only in spirit now. Nothing compares to the love and devotion of a beloved pet, God bless all God's creatures for all they give back to us! In future if I can figure out how, I will post a picture of my own, Yoshi, a pretty little sprite, an American Eskimo, age 7. I had two other dogs, another Eskie, Tasha, and a sweet little poodle, Cleo, that passed two and three years ago, both living to within a month of their 18th birthdays! They were a year apart and inseparable little friends all their lives. The poodle was also very attached to our ferret, Musashi, they entertained everyone who saw them play together. Cleo was already growing old when we got the ferret, but became young again in a moment! Yoshi watches out for my good health, vigorously demanding her leash at the same hour each day! |
