Default beach rider fall

My son fell from a galloping horse on the beach 10wks ago and was air lifted into hospital. He suffered typical concussion symptoms for the first month but then various other symptoms arose. He is confused, anxious, frightened of his own brother (nightmare as all live together), he cannot focus or see very well and is unable to read or draw let alone do any school work! He hasn't been back to school as couldn't cope, he can't understand other peoples voices and gets frightened. He has constant headache although other symptoms are worse. He has had cat,mri and eeg scans which were all normal, waiting to see neurological team next week and referred to eye specialist as well. He is also under psychologist as finding everything very difficult to cope with as are all the family, it is a very difficult time as he cannot explain how he feels most of the time because he simply can't think! I know we have an uphill struggle ahead but would like to know if anyone out there has has similar symptoms and how did you cope?
