Default questions

Hi again, I am finally able to show my husband this site. Now I want to know if any of the other members with hydrocephalus were given meds like giadon, depakote.or even xanex. My husband was tried on all of these but none of them seemed to work for him.I often wonder if the damage he suffered to his brain when he fell from the window affects how meds work for him. Unfortunately we live in a sate where there is no medical cannibis so does anybody have any suggestions as to how we could get it prescribed? This is so frustrating, we(my husband and I) know how well cannibis works to relieve stress, anxiety, the dark moods and the anger my husband suffers from. I just wonder how many of these symptoms are related to the hydrocephalus,or are they caused from the head trauma? Sometimes the doctors don't seem to care if they answer are questions or not. And I wish they would talk to each other more. Head injuries alone are hard enough to understand, but a forty year old head injury with hydrocephalus on top makes me want to burry my head and cry. My husband does not suffer from headaches, but he is prone to memory loss, quick loss of temper, and misplacing his belongings which in turn leads to his getting angry. We look forward to hearing from anybody who wants to offer advice.

Hello Hydrowife....

I'm no expert but I believe it would most likely be impossible to obtain a prescription for medical marijuana in a state where it is illegal.

It is my understanding that in order to obtain a prescription in a state where it is legal one must be a resident of that state. It would be illegal to possess in the state of your residence if you obtained it elsewhere.

Remember... even though it is legal in some states it is still federally illegal.

I understand wanting relief from pain. I wish your husband the best in finding a medication or treatment that works for him.
