One thing I would look into would be going to a neurologist that specializes
in dizziness issues. When I had my last issues with dizziness it was PVVs.
Or something like that.

Hey there... I know what you are going through and how you feel. I have PCS off and on for about 3 years and for the last 6 months its been constant. I know how you feel about no one understanding and people looking at you like nothing is wrong. Unfortunately, our issue is the brain and obviously no one can see or or feel the pain, unless they have or are going through concussions. I feel like my friends just dont understand whatsoever even when i try and explain its not a good deal and something I can just get over or put up with. Now i am just moving on trying to not let it bother me, its tough, but after awhile I feel better about it. if they are your true friends and family they will understand and be there through the end. If they arnt true to you and wont care to understand and just be there then they arnt good enough for you anyway. The less to worry, strss, and think about- the better...good luck and hope things get better, and they will!

Have you been prescribed any medications or been to see a doctor that specializes in concussions?

I've been reading the posts online and some have had success with anti-depressants and/or sleep meds, physiotherapy and ginger tea/drinks for the nausea. As for me, I just started on a small dose of anti-depressants for the migraine headaches and also see an osteopath, massage therapist and get Reiki treatments from my physician. Now this doesn't solve everything, but it can help with the mood since I know that trouble sleeping and all the symptoms we have is enough to make us go crazy. The other night at around midnight I was so restless and irritated that I went out for a brisk walk eventhough when I did I could barely see, I was dizzy, nauseated and I've been told not to do any physical activity.

It's very hard and I imagine 18 months feels like a lifetime. 3 months ago I would have been having a great REM sleep at this time and would have got up at 5:00 a.m. to go to the gym. Now I don't even remember what a good sleep feels like.
