Default Hello

diagnosed in late june of2010 with sfn. all tests were negative, but skin biopsy showed "significant" sfn. Doctors said i would have to deal with this condition for the rest of my life and sent me home with cymbalta for pain. Absolutly could not tolorate cymbalta and ended up with nortriptyline. After many hours of depressing and negative research into this disease, I made my own plan to deal with it. In late June I began a program of full on attack on my disease. Vitamins, suppliments, amino acids, ALOT of exercise, walking, weight lifting, electronic stimulation, vibration, hotand cold hydo therapy, diet and more with lots of prayer. I began to feel better after about a month but would still have bad days and weeks. Thanksgiving week was not good at all. then I started getting better almost daily, much less pain and numbness. Feet and toes, lower legs, forearms and wrists much much better now. I would say my symtoms have been reduced by at least 60%. I really can not say that this will continue to get better, but I have hope for a complete recovery and faith that it will happen. There are way to many negative stories on the Net. I just wanted to let you folks know that there is hope and maybe it can work for you also. Best of luck to you all. Chipper

Hey Chipper.

Welcome to Neurotalk. I have (or should I say HAD), diabetic neuropathy. I started taking 5000 of the Methyl B-12 and no more burning, buzzing, zipping zapping. Been two years now.

Best thing I ever did.

Do a search on Methyl B-12 and Neuropathy.

you'll be amazed.

Again, welcome to Neurotalk. We have a neuropathy forum and there's lots of info on that one.

Here is the link:

Take care
