Default Help -S1-L5 fusion (PLIF) 5 years ago

I am writing on behalf of my 29 y.o. daughter, who had a S1-L5 fusion (PLIF) 5 years ago. Over the past 3 yrs. she has developed increased pain, and is now struggling to manage her work and her life. The original neuro doc says the fusion is fine but she has developed some stenosis from arthritic tissue & the incision needs to be opened, hardware removed, cleaned out around the nerve and reinserted. A 2nd opinion was sought and a highly recommended neuro doc reports that the fusion failed & an ALIF surgery is needed. We now seek a 3rd opinion as we are very confused. Do you have any suggestions on a doctor in Portland that she might consider?

Thank you for your insights. Connie

Seeking a NS for a 3rd opinion in Portland, OR. Any suggestions?

Thank you, Connie
