Default Hello

Greetings to everyone here. My name is Leisa and I have spent some time looking through previously posted information and am looking forward to getting to know people here and educating myself. This is all fairly new to me and I am trying to understand the medical terminology and pain management..treatment options....what causes the pain to begin with...the psychological changes going on...argh. Overwhelming.
After reading many posts from those here, I see a lot of very brave people and I hope to be able to learn to understand and deal with my problems as well.
Thank you for letting me onto the forum.
Leisa

Smile Hi Leisa!

Glad to have you on the forums! There are certainly a lot of people here with a real understanding of the issues you have mentioned. I know I've spent the last four and a half years researching pain and the psychology of pain. I'm sure you'll learn a lot if you want to.

Just feel free to jump in and post on any post that interests you, and don't be shy about starting threads or asking questions. That's what everyone's here for! Good luck, and I hope to see you posting here often!
