Hi, I'm new. This place looks amazing! I have many issues, neuropathies, and other painful conditions, osteoarthritis shoulder and neck, ulnar neuropathy, fibromyalgia, mayofascial pain, and phenylketonuria and it's effects.
Just a couple of years ago I had to have 25 teeth pulled at once. I was fitted for dentures which I can't wear due to swallowing problems associated with the pku. And swallowing with those dentures is impossible. So I have been running around without teeth ever since. Being unable to eat anything but a few things, I'm weak, malnourished, and looking for an answer how I'd be able to eat decent foods. And ontop of that mess, I'm on a very strict diet that eliminates most high protein foods. I need shoulder replacement surgery but they won't touch me until I can eat. Sorry to make this long and boring, |

![]() You will find so many fantastic and caring people here.....everyone looks out for each other here and it is like one big caring family! Darlene has pointed you to a wonderful forum for Dental Care, which would be a great place to start. You'll make many friends in any of these forums so just take things one at a time and soon you'll begin to feel like you are getting your life back. Physical pain is hard enough to deal with, but the mental anguish that can go along with it is just as hard, if not worse......but I agree, getting good nutrition is priority. Your body will thank you for it and you can be on the road to recovery and happiness. You have friends! Just ask if you need help in finding your way around.... Truly Caring Rae ![]() |
