Default csf leak

I have a 21 year old daughter with a csf leak for four years. She had two hemilaminectomies, which revealed two cysts leaking on her throacic spine. However, after repair, her symptoms resolved and then returned. The best testing I am aware of is a CT myelogram, but she is allergic to the iodine contrast material. She has constant pain and suffers daily with this condition. DOes anyone ahve any very updated information on csf (spontaneous cerebral fluid) leaks?

G'day bailey, nice to meet you. I just wanted to send you a G'day and a Welcome!.

I'm very sorry to read of what your daughter's been going through. I honestly don't have a clue where to suggest you find more information. I hope that someone else might come along who will have more direction for you. Perhaps someone on the Spinal Injury subform might be able to help you out.

P.S.

bailey, I just found the CSF Leak forum hiding away there in a subforum. I'd actually forgotten it was even there.

It's rarely used, but might be worthwhile posting your message over there, as you just never know if someone might come along and be able to help you.

good luck with finding the info. that you need.

Just found something else in my travels.

bailey, you are able to select the search words on this site to narrow down the number of results you get. It's from Stanford.
