Default How do I post a reply to a thread?

I am new here.

I would like to know how to post a reply to a message which stays in the thread I am replying to. I have used the "quick reply" buttons but my replies all seem to start a new thread rather than stay in the thread I am responding to.

I have looked in the FAQ and cannot find the answer there.
Thanks.

I've only been on this board a few days, but the way I reply to a message is clicking on the "Post Reply" button at the bottom left of the last message.

Hi Lupin

the POST REPLY button at the bottom left is the one generally used

I dont use the quick reply, but I would think it should still remian in the thread?
I will test it and see....but for now, I would suggest the POST REPLY that cpmjohn has also pointed out
