Smile Hiya! I'm new here

Hi,

I live in CA and I found this forum because I was in a bad auto accident at the end of July that gave me a mTBI that caused PCS and six months of debilitating and severely painful increased intracranial pressure before it was finally discovered and relieved and I'm still healing with questions and looking for some people to whom I can relate.

It turns out I have a pretty serious question taboot... I tried twice to post in the TBI section and I have a head injury, I'm slow, and the system booted me out. It was very upsetting for me to spend so much time that ended up being wasted on those posts! Is there a way I can increase the time I have here before the system automatically boots me?

Thanks!!

So sorry about your accident
You've found a wonderful place though......everyone here is so very very caring!

Regarding getting 'booted'.....maybe try this: When you first log on, you'll notice a little box next to where you type in your password...the box says 'Remember Me'....just click that and it'll keep you from timing out.....

It's great to have you here!

Default Hi and Welcome.

Something else you might try is typing your entry into a Word Program, then copy and paste it into your thread box when you are ready. I have done that from time to time. Keeps me from having to retype and rethink.

So happy to have you here at Neurotalk. Hope you are finding your way around. Please make yourself at home and join in! Look forward to learning more about you!
