Unhappy Somewhat new here and excited to be here!

Hi there! I am somewhat new here in the sense that I just started posting about a week ago and never "introduced myself". I am learning how to navigate this site, so please be patient!

Little brief history with me. I have had 10 bilateral hand/thumb surgeries in 3 years, which has brought me to my newest adventure...CRPS. I am in the beginning stages of treating with a Pain Management Dr. and so far am exhausted from it all. This all started once upon a time ago at this place called my job. I am on year 5 with not only the surgeries and pain, but also the worker's compensation case.

Anybody going through these types of obstacles in life will know what my next statement means..."If I wasn't depressed before, I sure am now". It is hard enough to try to adjust to the physical limitations, but now the mental....I am at a point where I isolate myself and wish not to leave home. So I am hoping to reach out here and talk with some others who live this same kind of bad dream!! That will be my start in joining the outside world again!!

Thanks for listening!

Well, hi there, and welcome to the community! This is a good place--you'll get support here, and have the opportunity to support others as well.
