Default Maryland USA that has RSD

I was just diagnosed with RSD. I am 55 year old woman who has been suffering from Intracranial Hypertension since the year 2000. In 2011 I had a torn tendon in my left leg. A month or more ago I felt the flair up again with my leg so went to the ortho doc to see if the tendon was flaring up. After all the normal test that showed nothing for torn tendons he sent me vascular doctor thinking I had lymphedema.

After a careful examination and measuring my legs and reading all the reports he has concluded that I have RSD. What really synched him on me having it is because I jumped every time he tried to touch it and when I explained to him sleeping was next to impossible. I go to PM doc to get a EMG next week. Even though it is painful I have not yet taken any pain meds. I am pain med phobic. Reason being is I do not like any medication that changes my body chemistry. Many years ago while in a abusive relationship with my ex, I was drugged and did not like that high feeling. My name is Pam. I am happily married to my husband. He is my second marriage. After I became more worse ill this past year I started writing children's books.
