Frown New to neuro talk

Hi my name is Mary. I came here after searching for a group who suffers from peripheral neurological pain as I do. It was hard to find one without having to pay to subscribe to so I am hoping that this group will be what I have been looking for. I have been suffering back pain for a few years and that eventually lead to peripheral neurological pain after being treated for carpal tunnel syndrome. I have since found out that was not what I had. My symptoms have been getting worse now to the stage that my muscles are being affected as if my arms aren't doing what my brain tells them too. I suffer from chronic pain in arms legs back and feet. I have pain, pins and needles and a feeling of insects crawling all over my back too. I am waiting to see someone at the chronic pain management group as the gabapentin and pregabalin havent helped any. Nothing has worked for the pain out of everything I have been given and I feel like a pain going back to the doctors so much. I am now getting worried that the condition is going to affect my ability to work as symptoms are getting worse and its getting me down. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Default New to Nuero Talk

Hi my name is mayamysee. I have Parkinsons and have been diagnosed since 2004 but had seen a hand specialist for 2 years prior to try to determine what was going on. I am not very good with the computer so I really am "quiet" on that front. I don't even know if I am typing to the right place now. So Hello and I look forward to a continueing education in nuerology.
