Default New to forum and looking for answers

Hello all, my name is Peggy and I am new to this forum and chat. I was diagnosed a Type 1 diabetic at the age of 12, depression at 35, and have recently been told I have two types of masses on my brain that will require surgery. I am on several medications and cannot get the nurse from the neurosurgeons office to call me back and tell me which ones are safe to take before this surgery. If you could help me out and point me in the direction as to where I can get some definite answers I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your time, understanding, and patience.

Hi, just want to welcome you to the community! That's very upsetting that you are unable to get a response from your neurosurgeon's office! Please keep trying; this is information you need to have!

There are some people on the boards who work (or worked) in the medical field, and perhaps one of them will be along and give you some advice.

Thank you so much. I did finally, after a week of calling daily get a hold of my Neurosurgeon's nurse and thankfully got the answers I needed! Now comes the wait game for the surgery to be over. Am completely terrified, because this is brain surgery. Terrifying is maybe a better word. Once again thank you for your welcome I appreciate it immensely!
